The original Swallow Doretti website was launched in 1998 in order to help locate
and document as many Swallow Doretti sports cars as possible. This new version of the
website is intended to mainly feature past and present owners, who have contributed photos
and information
When the Swallow Coachbuilding Company (1935) Ltd. ended vehicle assembly in 1955, no
factory production records appear to have been salvaged from their Walsall Airport works
in Staffordshire, England.
All information and images acquired are saved in the Doretti Owners Registry and an
informal world wide exchange of information has been established between past and present
owners.
The Doretti Owners Registry aims to:
- Maintain a registry of vehicles and their history.
- Hold an archive of information relating to the development and history of the Doretti.
- Provide technical and historical assistance to owners.
- Encourage friendship between like minded people.
