This vehicle was acquired by Joop Noordijk of the Netherlands, with the intention of re-constructing a body that had been carefully sectioned, many years ago for use as spare parts.
According to Bob Slayden, "Nr.241 was purchased as a 'body only' out of Miami, Florida about 1978 (for $500) and brought to Nashville, Tennessee, where it was cut apart and stored for possible use as spare panels for the then owner of Italia Nr.184."
The dismantled body of Nr.241 was included in the sale of Nr.184 in 20xx to Bob Slayden and it was again placed in storeage until 20xx, when Joop offered to put it back on the road.
