According to the late Tom Householder, discovering Chassis No.1061 was one of the highlights of his many years of Swallow Doretti investigations and historical research.

Chassis No.1061 was found by Tom Householder, in Rockford, Illinois along with Chassis No.1112 - so he bought both cars. The fiber-glass snout mounted on No.1061 was installed by Bruce Heitman, circa 1957, but it was cut off before Tom brought the car home.
