Marches Transport Festival 2017 - Ludlow

Ludlow 2014 The 33rd Marches Transport Festival took place over the weekend 13th & 14th May 2017 alongside the 8th Ludlow Spring Festival - both events were held in the beautiful surrounds of Ludlow Castle in Shropshire. More than one hundred and fifty, pre-1985 cars, tractors, small commercial vehicles and motorcycles were displayed on both the Saturday and Sunday in the Outer Bailey of the grounds of the castle.
Three Swallow Doretti sports cars made it to the event, DRF 829 (No.1157) owned by Nigel Wilcox, NBC 742 (No.1200) owned by Peter Lockley and 609 CRF (No.1087) owned by John Aitken whose vehicle won the runner-up award in the Post-War (1949-59) Car Class.
